  • Judy Bumbarger
    DVM

    Dr. Judy Bumbarger graduated from Georgia University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985, after attending undergraduate at UGA. She worked as an associate veterinarian in a large/small animal practice in Davie County until 1988. She returned to her native Catawba County to work at Catawba Animal Clinic, which was operated as a satellite hospital by another Hickory veterinarian. She purchased this business in 1989. In 1995 she merged this business with Conover Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Bumbarger's veterinary interests include internal medicine, dermatology, and pediatrics. When not working at CVH, she enjoys gardening, reading, and entertaining with family and friends. She lives in Alexander County with her husband Jack, whom she married in 1996, their son, Preston, and an ever changing 'herd' of dogs, cats, horses, ducks, geese and chickens!

  • Tina Whitted
    DVM

    Dr. Tina Whitted graduated from Auburn University Veterinary College in 1985, after attending undergraduate school at Auburn. She worked at Catawba Animal Clinic in Newton, and then later worked as an associate veterinarian in Statesville, as well as a one year stint at the Spay/Neuter Clinic in Charlotte. She returned to Catawba County to work at Conover Veterinary Hospital in 1996. She has been married to her husband, Bob since 1989. Dr. Whitted's veterinary interests include surgery, feline medicine, and a special interest in exotic animals and avian medicine.

  • Sharon Monday
    DVM

    Dr. Sharon Monday graduated from NC State in 1994 and has been practicing veterinary medicine for 25 years. Dr. Monday has been married to her husband, Gene, since 2001 and they have 3 beautiful daughters (Sarah, Macon and Rachel). Dr. Monday has 2 horses, 1 donkey, 2 dogs and 6 cats and enjoys hiking, cooking, quilting, weaving and reading in her spare time.

  • Robert Evans
    DVM

    Dr. Evans was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and moved to Atlanta, Georgia when he was 12 years old. He received both his B.S. and D.V.M. Degrees from the University of Georgia. His professional interests included orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.  He began practicing at Acredale in 1987 and retired in 2019.  He has helped countless people and animals over the years, and we will forever be grateful.  Dr. Evans and his wife, Betsy, have been married since 1982, and now live in North Carolina with Olive, a Wheaton Terrier.  His son, Harry is a commercial airline pilot. Dr. Evans' personal interests include traveling, skiing, golfing, boating and baseball (Go Braves!). Dr. Evans started with Conover Veterinary in May 2020.
