Meet the friendly staff at Conover Veterinary Hospital!
Sarah Kate has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2014. She has a beautiful red pitbull (Zoey) and usually will have a small foster dog in her home. In 2017 the doctors promoted Sarah Kate to Practice Manager. In her spare time Sarah Kate enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going to Disney World.
Angie has been with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2010. She has been married to Glenn since 2008 and they have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren, who are the loves of her life! Angie has 4 dogs, 1 horse, 1 donkey and a lot of chickens. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking, baking and getting away to the beach when ever she can! Angie loves life and says she is more blessed then she deserves!!
Sarah has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2014. She has 5 dogs (Ava, Bailey, Peanut, Pearl and Lucas). She fosters and transports frequently for local rescues. Sarah has been married to her husband James since 1988, and has a daughter living in New York who works as an athletic trainer. Sarah and James love to travel to new and exciting destinations in their free time.
Lisa has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2014. When she isn’t at work she enjoys spending time with family on the family farm. She has 4 dogs (Peanut, Bell'e, Willow and Kallie) and 2 guinea pigs (Oreo and Cookie Dough) and a mouse (Kenny). She has been married to her husband, Terry since 2002. In May of 2018, Lisa graduated from Gaston College with her degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. In her spare time, Lisa enjoys reading, riding ATV’s, hiking and visiting various waterfalls around the USA!
Brandy has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2003. She has 1 dog (Mack) and 3 cats (Willow, Leafa and Brownie). She has been married to Shawn since 2008 and they have 2 children (Carter and Cameron). Brandy is certified in Companion Laser Therapy and when she isn’t working, Brandy enjoys spending time with family or curling up with a good book.
Tracy has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2005. She has 1 dog (Cabela), 1 guinea pig (Bubbles), 1 rabbit (Clover), 2 frogs and a freshwater fish tank. She has been married to her husband, Coyet since 2012. Tracy also works part-time at Carolina Vet Specialist in Winston Salem. In her spare time, Tracy and Coyet love to hunt, fish, hike and go camping. Tracy has always had a heart for helping animals.
Jasmine has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2018. She has 3 cats (Gage, Silas and Sapphire). She married her soul-mate in September 2019, Kristian. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from University of North Carolina, Wilmington in Marine Biology. In her spare time she loves to read, sing, play video and computer games and hanging out with family.
Chelsey interned at Conover Veterinary Hospital and was hired on in 2017. She has 2 dogs (Teddy and Charlie) and 1 kitty (Gizmo). She graduated from Bunker Hill High School in 2017. In her spare time she likes to spend time with her boyfriend, family and friends. Chelsey recently started selling ColorStreet Nails in her spare time and is loving it!
Lillian has been employed with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2016 and works in the kennel, as a tech and in our reception area. She has 4 dogs (Lennon, Julian, Riley Grace and Taco). Lillian recently married her best friend, Thomas, and together they foster senior dogs for a local rescue. She started working at Alexander County Animal Control when she was 18 years old and still volunteers at animal shelters in the area. When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the mountains.
Natalie has been working with Dr. Bumbarger since 1987. She has 4 cats (Blackie, Boo, Sneakers and Lolo) and 2 dogs (Austin and Lucy). She has been married to her husband, Terry since 1985. She has 1 daughter and 1 son and 1 grandson, Samuel! Natalie has been a Veterinary Assistant for 10 years. She is also as a Certified Surgical Technologist (for 21 years). In her spare time she likes to hike with her dog, camp, travel, cook and spend time with her family.
Anna has been with Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2019. Anna started in our kennel and now works mostly as a technician assistant and some as a receptionist. She has two rescue fur babies at home, Bloo (Siberian husky), Tubs (kitty) and recently adopted a cat named Wilson. Anna is known for taking in rescues of all kinds when they show up at her door. In Anna's spare time she enjoys farm life, hiking and shooting. Anna loves being able to work all departments while she works towards her Veterinary Technician Degree. If you ever need anything done at CVH, she is your go to person, she can fix anything!
Brandon was hired May of 2021 and has been a wonderful addition to our Conover Vet family. He has one cat (Izzie) which he adores. To expand his knowledge, he is currently taking Vet Assistant classes. In his spare time he enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends.
Emily has been with Conover Veterinary hospital since 2017. She has a dog (Pokey) and 3 cats (Gabby, Mike and Calvin). Emily graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Appalachian State studying cellular/molecular biology. She volunteered at Alexander Animal Services for 2 ½ years. In Emily’s spare time she likes to read and bake. Emily has decided to go back to school to get her Master's Degree.
Morgan has been employed at Conover Veterinary Hospital since 2019. She is currently studying to get her RN degree. She has an orange tabby cat, Boogie, and a grey tabby cat, Margo. You can often find Margo lounging on the front reception counter when Morgan is working. She also has 2 dogs Enola (a golden retriever mix) and Basha (a Scottish Deerhound mix) is the newest addition to the pack. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys puzzles, hiking and reading poetry,
Clark started with Conover Veterinary Hospital in April of 2021. He lives in Catawba. Clark is a wonderful young man who enjoys taking care of the pets and giving them plenty of love while they are in our facility. In his spare time you can find him riding his motorcycle with friends.
